My name is San, and I am a certified cat groomer who was honoured with the 2023 #NeighbourhoodFaves award! I have a bubbly personality. My Siberian Neva Masquerade, Indi (short for Indiana Jones), holds a special place in my heart and is the inspiration behind starting San's Cat Grooming Services.
I pursued a Diploma in Cat Grooming to learn how to groom Indi when I struggled to find available cat grooming appointments in my area. From day one, I discovered my love for cat grooming and have developed a true passion for it. I strive to make grooming a positive experience for cats and help them feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process.
Providing home-visit cat grooming services in Colchester and surrounding areas, I also offer a special 6-8 week package. Reach out for more details and discover the benefits. Stay updated on my latest promotions by connecting with me on social media platforms!

This isn't the exhausted list so please feel free to get in touch if your location isn't listed above
There isn't a particular preferred room, as long as it's a well-lit and confined room/space (with limited hiding spaces for your cat) where I will have access to water.
Nothing in particular. I will come to your home with my foldable table and equipment but please bear in mind, depending on how your cat reacts to grooming, for the safety of the cat, the groomer and the holder (owner), I may need help with holding the cat during the grooming process. Also, please remember not to feed your cat less than 2 hours before your appointment.
Yes certainly. If you are unsure feel free to let me know and I'll be able to guide you on how you can safely hold your cat during the grooming process. There are various positions we can use depending on the age, condition and behaviour of your cat.
Cats have very short patience and therefore it could be likely that they start getting fidgety and potentially aggressive during the grooming process. It could also be because they're nervous and anxious but the best way to handle this situation, as the owner, would be to calm yourself down and not get anxious as your cat would detect that energy and get even more anxious.
For the safety of the cat, the groomer and the holder (owner), a comfy cone will be put on the cat.
Furthermore, you should always disclose any aggressive or difficult behaviour when making your booking.
